The chain shows you a premium. It doesn't tell you whether that premium is expensive for this name, cheap against how the stock is actually moving, or skewed to one side.
An IV of 20 means nothing on its own. If it sits at the 10th percentile of the name's own year and realised vol is higher, a short straddle is being paid too little for the move.
Puts on one name can sit 3 vol points over the calls while the next name's calls are rich. Without a skew read you pay for the expensive side without knowing it.
A ₹4,000 straddle on one stock and a ₹900 one on another say nothing about which is richer. You need vol in percentiles and P&L on the same notional to rank them.
Five tools that turn the option chains of every F&O name into a short list of trades priced in your favour.
Open the app and the day is already sorted: who to sell premium in, who to buy it in, and where the wings are mispriced — each with the numbers behind the tag.

Pick a structure and see it priced from the chain on all 217 names at once — scored, with the reason in plain words, and the names to skip.

Build the legs from the chain or a preset and get the full read in one click — then see whether the same structure is cheaper on another name.

Everything the surface says about a single underlying, with a plain-language summary on top so you don't have to read ten charts to get the answer.

The whole universe in one table, with a market-wide read on top — is vol cheap or rich today, and where are the extremes?

Built on FNOTrader's own option archive — full chains for every F&O name, not a handful of index snapshots.
Each card below is a documented capability of the app, with the screen it lives on.
Every page and every tool is open to every FNOTrader account. What changes is how fresh today's intraday surface is — past sessions are the same for everyone. Prices exclude 18% GST.

Black-76 on the futures price: the forward is the same-expiry future, refined by put-call parity at the strikes nearest the money — that removes the call/put IV gap you get when spot is sampled at a different moment. The interest rate does not set the forward; it only discounts the premium (6.5%, the same convention as the Options app’s Stock Volatility page), which moves IV by about 0.03 vol points on a two-week option. End-of-day surfaces use each contract's median close between 15:10 and 15:25 IST, and a leg is only used when it has open interest and enough prints in that window.
IV percentile is where today's implied vol sits in that name's own history (300+ sessions) — P10 is cheap for this stock, P90 is rich. VRP (volatility risk premium) is implied minus 20-day realised vol: positive means options are priced above how the stock has actually been moving, which favours sellers.
Yes — every tool is open to every FNOTrader account with no plan. Without a plan, today's intraday surface is 15 minutes delayed; with any active plan it runs to the last closed minute, and with a plan plus a connected broker it is live. Past sessions are identical for everyone.
No — it is an analytics app. Take the structure to the Options app or the QuikTrade Terminal to execute it.
